Turnkey Knowledge

Turnkey Knowledge aims to inspire individuals to embrace their entrepreneurial talent and spirit to open their own businesses. After all, small businesses are the backbone of our economy. Small businesses not only create jobs, but they create a community. In challenging times, it is imperative that we come together and re-build our community, and that is what we strive for at Turnkey Knowledge.

Our site provides entrepreneurs the resources and tools they need to successfully start and manage their own business – from updates on new small business legislation and resources to providing connections with the right service providers.

Turnkey Knowledge

The inspiration to create Turnkey Knowledge came after witnessing many of the small, familiar businesses in New Jersey closing down due to the Great Recession of 2008 and 2009.

Our Mission

Turnkey Knowledge, Inc. is a New Jersey not-for-profit corporation devoted to giving entrepreneurs the tools they need to successfully start their own small business. We hope to achieve this by putting these individuals in touch with various service providers in New Jersey.

Our Aim

Our aims to inspire individuals to embrace their entrepreneurial talent and spirit to open their own businesses. After all, small businesses are the backbone of our economy. It is imperative that we come together and re-build our community, and that is what we strive for.

Covid Pandemic

More recently, the Covid-19 pandemic has substantially impacted the small business landscape in New Jersey – nearly one-third of small businesses have closed due to a pervasive reduction in economic activity. State-mandated closures, a steep decline in consumer spending, and a lack of consistent federal economic support have made it nearly impossible for businesses to cover their operating costs, leading to widespread lay-offs and closures. Hard-working entrepreneurs, many who rely on their businesses as their sole source of income, face an insurmountable loss and are being propelled into a teetering job market.

Our Inspiration

Small businesses are the backbone of our economy creating jobs and a future for millions of Americans across the country. The two years following the great recession in 2008 and 2009, 170,000 small businesses in the U.S. closed.

This drastically impacted our economy and left ambitious entrepreneurs without a job. We, here at Turnkey Knowledge, work to encourage individuals to embrace their entrepreneurial spirit and start up their own small business.

How Do You Begin?

All you need to begin is an innovative idea; our website and expertise on the seven major service providers in your area (Attorney, Accountant, Commercial Real Estate Broker, SBA Preferred Bank, Recruitment Agent, Insurance Agent, and I.T./Web Design Professional) will guide you from there and turn your idea into reality. However, for those of you trying to test the feasibility of your plan before contacting the service providers, you may want to create a business plan.

This will require in-depth research about your potential business including target market analysis, competition, and funding requirements. This will allow you to stay organized and map out how you are planning to run your business so that the service providers can help you in the most effective and efficient way possible.
